Looks like he had a good season in New Mexico. From OK and was lightly recruited. Always need help at the WR position. The young man I am looking forward seeing play is Carter. If he can come back 100% along with Sydeny we should have establish more depth.

Indeed. Carter had the strongest start to his Illini career of anyone I can remember. I would love to see his star keep rising, he has the chance to be really special.

Not sure where to post this, but there is at least one more Illini bar to catch a game at in Chicago now! Maybe this is common knowledge, but as I dropped my girlfriend off at work tonight (NWM Hospital), I saw a beautiful orange Illini flag flying outside of Timothy O’Toole’s in Streeterville.

Here is some highlight videos I could find of the newest commit:

He was an FCS All-American, and awarded SoCon’s best blocker trophy last season. Hard to gauge how good he is though as he looks like he’s struggling against a Clemson, but having an easy time with FCS. Would be nice if there was somewhere in between we could see him in action. Either way I see it as his job to lose at right guard.
