I don't get excited about things like this. I'm sure whoever fills in will have a career day and play better than CoanWisconsin QB Jack Coan injures his foot and is out indefinitely.

I assume you mean both 2020 and 2021, given the new/special Covid "eligibility" rules. (I don't see much of a drop-off in 2021.)Unless recruiting improves dramatically it kinda looks like this season—one where we will be lucky to go .500–is going to be Peak Lovie at Illinois.
I would think this moves the needle fairly significantly (multiple points) in our direction.Wisconsin QB Jack Coan injures his foot and is out indefinitely.

well now muscle weighs more than fat.....Weight gains and losses posted on 247
Kind of disappointing to see that Calvin Avery still can't shed weight. He's listed as +10 lbs.
Illinois will be 3-6 this season. Lovie cannot recruit. PJ Fleck is robbing his back pocket (https://www.minnesotasportsfan.com/...hes-gophers-2021-class-into-top-5-nationally/). Lovie -- when he arrived at Illinois -- was asked by writers "how is college different?" Lovie said, "No difference. It's all Xs and Os." In the meantime, Lovie found out you can't bring guys in on Tuesday to try out after he ran nine quarterbacks off, and -- worse that he can't recruit with the line "I know how to get you to the NFL." Oh, and he didn't know you need to go for it on fourth down in Nebraska with 2 minutes left in a game he might have -- maybe, maybe, maybe -- won... Bring back Bill Cubit...
Uh... what? Bill Cubit?... WHAT :faint:
well now muscle weighs more than fat.....
Except that a pound of fat takes up a lot more space.correct me if I’m wrong but a pound of muscle and a pound of fat both weigh the same
Ug. And after the game he said he would do the same thing (punt) again. One of my most depressing Illini memories.Oh, and he didn't know you need to go for it on fourth down in Nebraska with 2 minutes left in a game he might have -- maybe, maybe, maybe -- won...
