Is there a date where you have to submit to the transfer portal or say you are going pro? Since there are so many kids that will be moving, are the rules different on declaring?Of the scholarship guys with a decision to make, I'd probably rank their importance to 2021 (considering both their skills and what else we've got at the position) like so:
1. Bhebhe - Leaving
2. Green - Leaving
3. Carney
4. Perry
5. Kramer - Staying
6. Palcho - Staying
7. Hansen - Leaving
8. Gay
9. Hobbs
10. Woods
11. Lowe - Staying
12. Eifler - Leaving
13. Adams
14. Peters - Staying
15. Hayes
16. McCourt
17. D. Bhebhe
18. K. Smith
19. Mondesir
20. D. Dan
Now, I don't want to end up hauled into Fansville court on charges of jinxing like that Dr. Pepper commercial, but go flip on the basketball game in a few minutes.Wow Chief, you spin every situation into doom and gloom to fit your negative narrative.
I'm getting ready to call fansville PDNow, I don't want to end up hauled into Fansville court on charges of jinxing like that Dr. Pepper commercial, but go flip on the basketball game in a few minutes.
It can go right, and when it goes right, it's not some hidden secret you need a bunch of labored excuses to see.
It's essentially irrelevant. We are 1000 times better off under Bielema.I wonder how the attrition compares to if we had retained Lovie?
I wouldn't say 1000 times better. BB has created a lot of good will, but if he isn't at least looking like the illini are improving in year two all that good will and talk of recruiting the state won't mean much. It's essentially irrelevant. We are 1000 times better off under Bielema.
The most electric player on the team last season. I wonder why he is returning, is there really much room for improvement?
Jamal Woods too.So the biggest 3 now remaining are now Perry, Gay and Adams?
Yeah, I'll be happy if Perry and Woods return. Need these 2 big boys in the trenches.Jamal Woods too.
It's another year of free college and he's a borderline NFL punter. Why not stick around for another year? The most electric player on the team last season. I wonder why he is returning, is there really much room for improvement?

He is either/or both McShays/Kiepers no. 1 punterHe's one of the best punters in football. He's def not borderline. I'm shocked he's coming back. He has a better chance at the NFL than Kendrick Green
This year he ranked 27th with an average punt distance of 43.76 yards. This was slightly down from last year when he ranked 22nd with average punt of 44.6 yards. His 44.6 yard average would've ranked 28th this year in the league. He's one of the best punters in football. He's def not borderline. I'm shocked he's coming back. Its not just all about distance. Blake is a master at precision punting - especially pinning it inside the 5 to 10 yard lines. Not to mention his fake punt skills.
Haha yes that part was sort of tongue in cheek.Unfortunately Blake's fake punt skills don't translate to the NFL whatsoever; the delayed kick move he's mastered this year is illegal by NFL rules.
Is that true? How so?the delayed kick move he's mastered this year is illegal by NFL rules.
In the nfl the guys on the line can’t leave early. In college, basically the entire team can sprint down on coverage at the snap.Is that true? How so?
I've been wondering why more Aussie-style punters don't do that for years. If it isn't there you can always quick kick it.
