How many Tight Ends do we need?
TOO MANY! However, Beetham entered transfer portal shortly after being asked to switch to TE from QB.

I know Petersen will be running 2 TE formations quite often but what are the chances that we have 3 on field at once (Barker or Ford swing out wide while having one of the underclassmen TEs take snaps at TE)?

FWLIW, I have a hunch Beetham can play QB at this level or maybe a step down. C'est la vie.

Instead of swing out wide how bought two tighties and one fullback

you can really never have too many guys with the skill set of a Travis Kelce on the field at one time. But I do agree it seems like they are going three deep big time at both sides of the line at Tight end

I think I would love this! Always an outlet pass available. Multiple sets that make the run almost impossible to stop. All with the option for one or more leakers into open space...big play opportunities. Yes please.

Plus these guys fit that moldable body type - long 6-4 to 6-6, athletic - can be moved inside to OL or flipped to DE or DL, or stay at TE.

The reliable Yahoo Sports doesn't think too highly of our beloved football team this upcoming year... 2-10, last place. I think BB will use this bulletin board material to our advantage
Talentwise this is probably right. We are experienced however, so with improved coaching and execution we may pick up a couple wins we wouldn't have under the old regime.

Bret rated no, 42 coach out of 65 by CBS Sports.. Is that good or bad or nothing?

We are winning the first 6 games. Nebraska is terrible. Virginia is average. We have a solid offense that will put points on the board.

Might be a little extra inspiration for BB? Hard to imagine he cares about the CBS rankings. I’m confident he will at least be a top 25 coach during his tenure here with a couple nice runs at West title. After what we’ve seen, I will take that for the rest of his career.

So I assume Sitkowski will be the #2 now?? If we can get some really solid QB play I think we will surprise a lot of people, but Peters has been so inconsistent I hope Sitkowski can step in if needed. Unfortunately his history is similar. I’m really surprised we haven’t heard of more movement in the QB room. Still time for that I guess.

I think i could stand the pain of losing the last six in regular season if we ended with a bowl win.
in fact i think that would be a tremendous season considering everything that has gone on
