It's so surreal and awesome to me that all of my Iowa friends are joking how they are going to watch a UFC fight this Saturday rather than watch OSU demolish Iowa, while my Illini self cannot stop talking about college football.

A healthy dose of McCray, Brown, with occasional play action to control the clock. Keep our defense fresh. I see us with a better than good shot in this game. If I were in a casino on November 19th, I would put $50 on us to cover the spread, which will probably be about 10 points. I would love to be in Vegas on that weekend, watching the basketball team in the Vegas tournament, and watching college football on Saturday. What a fun weekend that would be.

In all the success that we've had this year it seems like nobody has talked about the oline at all besides Palczewski. Basically an entirely new group and they've been great about opening up holes for Chase, not having a lot of negative rushing plays, and keeping Devito pretty clean. As a unit they've only allowed 11 sacks on the season which is pretty good compared to some previous years we've seen especially considering the quality of defenses we've played as well. Feel like we need to give them a little shout out for the work they're doing.

Just looking at Big Ten wins at Illinois: Lovie 10, BB 7, Beckman 4. It's nice to have good coaching and a very sad reflection of how bad we were on the 8 lasagna+beard years

Is there even any competition for B1G COTY right now? I suppose an argument could be made for Harbag, but to do so would have to acknowledge how much scUM underperformed in recent years.

Yeah, remember back when Iowa and Wisconsin were competing with Ohio State and Michigan for the top position in the Big 10? That was a dark/grim universe.
