It’ll be interesting to see how we fill out the staff and recruiting department. Very interesting the moves usc has made.

Lincoln Riley is doing everything he can to save his job….

The recruiting department helps out and makes sure the coaching staff has all the tools and resources to make their job easier but it’s up to the coaching staff to get the job done on the recruiting trail so I’m not that convinced.

He will be gone next year if they don’t turn things around.

what they did was hire guys with connections to other parts of the country. Plus nd recruits nationally. This is then expanding their recruiting foot print

A question for someone who might know. Is Dre Brown's long term interest in being a staff member or does he want to be a coach? Would he be interested in coming back to Illinois as rb coach? The money that GM's, DPP's and Directors of Recruiting are now being paid makes a non-coaching position more attractive. Is it true that Brown's boss at USC received $1M to leave ND?

The rumor I heard is they almost tripled Dre’s salary. Regardless he won’t be coming back here any time soon.

Is Dre married and does he have any children? I seem to remember wedding pics while he was in school here or right after his graduation.

As a transplanted yankee now living in Georgia, I'm throwing my support behind Joe Bob. Them Joe Bobs, Bubbas and the like know their football. Plenty of them around here. Incidentally, for those who may not know, "Bubba" along with "Sissy" are names spoken to older siblings by younger siblings just learning to talk.

There's a double entendre there, but my reply would not be suitable for a family website.

Perhaps we call it 'pulling a Walters' instead. Not exactly the same thing but close.

i’m going to guess Bret was a lil upset with the timing & him offering guys for USC just days after visiting the lads for the beloved , and moving within the league

it’s kind of a d1ck move

do we or will we have anyone in the WR room who can legitimately take the top off the defense?

Is kenari wilcher coming back? I guess he ran a few high 4.3 40s and consistently could get low 4.4s. Just send him on posts, if he’s open chuck it otherwise hit the dig, likely to someone like Beatty or a TE
