"It's the little things in sports that inspire the big things." Amen. The ensuing game-reversing goal-line stand proved it.

For me this is second only to Thomas Rooks' game-winning TD run v OSU in '83. Watching that final drive again: goose bumps. I listened to it on the radio that day. Couldn't believe my ears. Merely a month after I visited campus for the first time and fell in love with it.

East Balcony season tickets then. That was an amazing season and our group of four (plus one pregnant) were still in the stands at least 15 minutes after the game. But, this was nothing like the victory over Michigan a couple weeks later. I don't know how people were sprawled out in our motel room the next morning watching the highlights before heading back to Chicagoland.

I remember Mike White doing a women’s football camp in late August to teach the basics to women fans so they could enjoy the game more.

As to that 1983 OSU game. East Main with the fraternity brothers.
My wife never missed it. Maybe it was because they had a player show how the various components of the football uniform were put on.

I mean even in the moment without knowing the real story, I feel like the ESPN commentators acted like Bret just walked up and assaulted Beamer. Even just seeing it live on TV I was like, seriously!? That's it!?
When ESPN basically owns the SEC, they are probably going to be a bit biased.

I mean, how could South Carolina, a team that just missed the playoff, be beat by a lowly B1G team? Especially a nobody like Illinois. (Please read that with an extremely sarcastic tone.)

I am very happy with what BB and the staff have done over the past few years and I look forward to what will happen in the future.

Relationships.... you just never know where they will lead you in life....
it’s my guess , Bret has lost at least 25-30 lbs
it’s very noticeable
I was thinking this yesterday looking at recent videos and thinking the exact same thing. I believe you are correct. And as someone on the same weight-loss path, I do notice these things, and applaud them !!!
