RE: possible attendance figures this year, it looks like we have sold a lot of tickets for it being late July ... at least compared to our past years! Every section in the lower bowl for OSU is sold out except for 131 (corner of West Main closest to the student section), and it has TWO tickets left. 4 of the 9 East Balcony sections are sold out, and most of the availability is in the back of the corner sections. 90% sure we sell that one out if we don't absolutely tank early.

This will be a way more rudimentary analysis than our pal @IlliniInBuckeyeState does, but as of August 1, these are the tickets sold by section for our first four home games so far. I know they can play "ticket games" or whatever, but this should at least give a general idea of what the crowds are trending toward! The numbers below are the number of sections in each area of the stadium.

So like I said in a previous post, I am almost certain we can sell out the OSU game if we don't totally trip out of the gates. I also think an even semi-encouraging start gets us over the hurdle to sell out the USC game, given it's Homecoming. One interesting note ... the fact that the WMU game is looking more full than the home opener has me wondering if we at least would have had an outside shot at a home opener sellout if it had been on a Saturday.
