Malik Elzy catch was SICK!!!
He will have a big year. It hurt him not enrolling early, he was also stuck behind nfl caliber receivers. He’s also young I believe he just turned 20. For comparison IU commit Purcell will be a 20 year old true freshmen

At the end of CoachB's 1st season he called out his team for not having Big10 depth. Well I may say him and staff have addressed this, at every group on our team. Next man up, with not much back stepping in talent and being ready. Is Massive!

This is the key, I think, to parity in college football going forward. The Ohio States, Alabamas and Georgias of the world will still have $20-$30 million dollar rosters, but they’ll be paying much more for the first team talent they’ve always acquired. Meanwhile, the players who in the past have gone there as backups will find better monetary offers from other teams, spreading the wealth. I love that Illinois has seemingly embraced this new reality.
