If I had to draft a QB this year for the NFL I would take Mendoza but after that Luke has to be in the conversation. He has good WRs but not the talent level that Sayin has and Luke has dealt with some defense pressure this year

It is absolutely insane that many of us, including me, are pissed about missing the playoff and maybe ending the season 9-4 or 10-3 (including a bowl game).
Bret has taken this program so much farther than we’ve been in years, and Josh has us where Bret is happy and not looking to leave, is crazy.
We’re relevant and I have not turned a game off at halftime (aside from wanting to for Indiana) in years.

We are going to miss Luke after this season undoubtedly.however i do have faith in coach to bring in a good qb transfer after the season.just seeing Luke's growth from his 1st game with to this point has to be a good selling point to recruits and transfers especially if lunney comes back
I agree with you...I do worry that some of the big programs will come sniffing with Big money and he regrets not succeeding with Arkansas...
Beyond some point, money diminishes in value with respect to other factors. Bret seems to have put down roots, especially with respect to family, and is well compensated.
And weren’t some here arguing just last week he was on a hot seat? It’s a crazy business. Hopefully Bret understands the potential lunacy, recognizes the mirages of greener grass, and appreciates his new home.

Even if Lunney leaves, if Art is still here I'm confident our QB room will be good moving forward.

I can’t find it now, but someone here was warning that big donors were about to get restless, putting even Bret in jeopardy. Then the conversation steered back to reminders to keep the season in perspective with respect to our decades wandering in the wilderness.
That’s hilarious! A good reminder of how out of touch many clowns are.
