While the concerns about the WR unit are noteworthy, there's about 8-10 transfer transactions ($) that occurred this offseason that are more consequential than Bowick getting swapped out for Perry.

Moczulski


Besides maybe Moczulski, I would want each of these choices to pay off before bringing back Bowick. This is also ignoring that Platt has been hyped about as much as any other transfer this season, which helps soften the blow if Perry is a disappointment.

You're going to have a rotation of 4-5 once conference play begins. You then are going to have 4-5 guys get shipped off to the scout team. If they can't stay healthy through the end of summer and the first few days of helmet only practices, I would be generally concerned that some of these guys can't hold up through an entire fall season.

If you have 6 guys that can't practice in full, you're going to have scout team issues for the defense.

Overeacting, maybe.

100% it becomes an issue for the scout team. They need guys to go against.
