Dave Doeren is out......Matt Brock is in  ;)

Note: This is just in my mind, for what little that is worth. It's worth what you paid for it.

The start of our Octoberfest - probably the best 5 game stretch in Illini history. Iowa was #4, OSU #6 and UM #8 when we beat them. For those who weren't there, it's hard to describe just how crazy it was on campus and at the games - think LSU Saturday night game against Ole Miss or Alabama crazy

I can attest. The stadium was rockin’ back then. Even had an overflow crowd for the Ohio state game in the Assembly Hall watching the game on closed circuit TV

We spent a nice chunk of change on Bailey, X and Juice. Had to spend a some to get Morris too. Farrell and Barna as well.

I bet we did in the D back area. Anticipating them to be lights out. One has been for sure - the other 2 have struggled. Hopefully this change in D helps them return to their former level of play.

Art Sitkowski seems like a big part of the transfer qb renaissance. Selfishly I really want him to stay around for a very long time, but I'm also wondering if he is getting a lot of calls to branch out on his own with a lower OC job?

I'd keep him until Lunney leaves and make him OC. Think he's on that type of trajectory and after mismanaging having Scheelhaase staying as coach/eventually being OC, I'd make this happen eventually.

That environment at the stadium and on campus for that Michigan Game lasted until Sunday afternoon.
