Illini Football 2026

this is a prime example of why the 5 in 5 needs exceptions

Disagree. The courts have consistently said that the exceptions are never consistent and it created a legal requirement for the NCAA to move to 5-for-5. This would be the slippery slope that leads to 6-in-6, then exceptions, etc.

You get one pass if you’re injured the whole year. That’s the only exception. The courts and NCAA just have to follow that (I know, I know)

How can this be? It was just yesterday that I was watching him lead the Illini to victory over UCLA in the Kraft Hunger Bowl . . . Oh đź’©, it has been that long
I mean it doesn't seem long ago that he was completing his first 13 passes in the bowl game against Baylor and RGIII! Man time flies.
