moving day. Ilini need one underpar, don't have to get it all back. 2nd tourney in a row where a very good team had a great 1st round. Alabama came back to the pack in the 2nd lets hope it happens again. Maybe Max has one of his patented low rounds, a little 68 or something.

I’ll give some big hints. The guy on campus that was the big recruit is 17, has made the cut at a PGA event, and has a first name that is a kind of irons style. He’s also considered the top amateur in his class.

its actually incredibly difficult to do. you have to earn you way to the tour any which way you slice it. he may get some sponser invites but those are even tough to come by. college is one of the easiest ways currently to do it.

maybe, I actually think Jackson has to be better for us to compete. we are fine with the 5th options we have if you ask me. didn't really pan out this tourney. But without our big gun we are not competing against comp like this. I expect he will be just fine throughout the rest of this season, however. he just had a bad tourney. We haven't been good at this one the last couple of years

Golf is an individual sport and not nearly as easy to 'go pro' as other athletes in team sports can. College/NCAA can help a player develop mentally which is a HUGE part of the pro game..... Coaches like Small can greatly increase a players mental side as well as fine-tune their mechanics.

I wish I could blame this lousy performance at OFCC on the officiating,

Illini will be okay, especially in 2025 when it counts. I think.

Sorry to describe Illini performance at OFCC as lousy. I should have said it wasn't very good,

Does anyone know why I can't find Coach Small comments on this tournament? Nothing on Illini golf website, Champaign News Gazette, internet.

Back at today, not the banger field of the last event but solid with a couple top 25 programs. Same 5 as the other two lets hope the boys come out firing today.

is it me or is clippd even worse now? I feel like last tourney there was a way to pay attention hole by hole but now I can't seem to find it. anybody have a way or was I dreaming that last time we had to use it?
