An Illini wins every other week. I assumed it would be Hardy's turn in Puerto Rico, but with ADC in the field do you think it might be him instead?

Monday qualifier alert! ADC finished in a four-way tie for third at the qualifier for this weekend's Valspar Championship, then survived a 4-for-2 playoff. He is now in the field in Tampa, joining Detry, Hardy and Campbell.

I sure like seeing "Tournament Winner in Past Two Seasons" next to the names of Campbell, Detry and Hardy. Hope ADC gets it and they all maintain it.

Campbell and Detry are good through 2027, which is a nice security blanket. Hardy will lose it after this year unless he gets a win. To make it harder, next year only the top 100 in the Fedex Cup get a full exemption (down from 125), and Hardy is not qualified for any majors or signature events (which award more points). Hopefully he pulls together some top-5s/top-10s to get back in good standing.
this is an interesting move by the PGA. Not sure what to make of it.
Fields have been reduced by 12 players from 156 to144. Full exemptions have been reduced to 100. Sponsor exemptions have been taken away. Also now 8 designated events which are just for the top 72 and a cut to 50. The notions they are claiming to have in mind is to keep meritocracy at the forefront of their tour and that less full exemptions will help that for the young players. Not so sure about that and it depends where the 'extra' players are coming from. That is always complicated. I do think the PGA has shifted to funnel money up the standings, if you can stay in the top 50 you are much better nowadays then in the past but I am not so sure the backend of the tour has more 'opportunities' per se. Maybe since like 30 of the top 125 stopped competing except for majors there is more opportunities for young players overall on the tour.
AdC needs a hail mary, Monday qualifiers are a brutal way to qualify.

I think AdC's main goal this year is to go strong in the Korn Ferry Tour, since he is exempt for the entire season. This weekend is a nice bonus - no KFT tournament, and he now can try to make a cut and get paid. And if he can push for a top 10, he would get another start as a result.

Detry is currently six strokes back from the leader, but with a solid round tomorrow he could easily climb into the top ten. Hopefully he can build some momentum ahead of the Masters.
Luke Clanton made another cut as well, which makes 10 for the FSU Junior. Very impressive!

The spectacle of the Masters with the full display of floral beauty is , to me , the harbinger of Spring ......A time to feast on the tremendous visuals of nature and human skills combining for true entertainment value.........
The difficulty of the Masters , with lightening speed green's surely tests the mettle of even the most skilled golfers.......Having watched this tournament throughout the prime years of Palmer , Nicklaus , Player and others in that time frame are memories that I cherish spent with my Pops almost every year then........
The fun I had finally picking up a bag of clubs in my late 30's and my dad later in his 50's bound us closer than ever before.....The banter back and forth with nobody else around allowed us to share intimate thoughts meant to belong only between us.....The reality of him being gone for over 2 years now here on Earth will never erase the memories we shared those many years.....
Miss you DAD.........I REALLY REALLY REALLY DO.........Sorry for being off topic , but thank you for the venue to share my emotions with my family here at Loyalty........
