Proof that NBA scouting still has a lot of holes in it. It's hard to account for a kid who has his head screwed on straight and loves the work.

One of my British coworkers was in town years ago and went to Magic City and he had the absolute best time. Boy did they love his accent. He speaks very very fondly of that establishment.
Ayo is a player who always proves his doubters wrong. To be fair, not everyone is like him.
If my math is correct, he was 4 made FTs away from being in the elite 50, 40, 90 club! C'mon, Ayo!
Estimates I've seen say something like $17-25 million annually on a 3 or 4 year deal.

Was thinking back in December he'd get around 3 yr - 55 mln type deal.
With the way hes playing and shooting the ball, I'd say now he's pretty comfortably in the 3 yr 80 mln/ 4 yr 100 mln type range.
Couldn't have happened to a better guy. Remember all of this started with Ayo!

His market could be pretty volatile and it also depends on how good of a team he wants to be on. Minnesota lacks the cap flexibility to give him what the market would bear elsewhere.
I want him to get the bag, personally.
For sure, I'm assuming with the glut of serviceable players Minnesota has that if he wants his absolute maximum contract value he'd have to leave for a different team.

Will’s footwork, cutting and decision-making are only getting better too. That was a great highlight reel.
Will looking really good. However, the amount of carrying that is allowed these days is insane! 0:21 is a prime example and a few other plays to go along with it. NBA allows WAY too much slop these days IMO
Carrying simply isn't called at any level anymore. Tarris Reed literally carried everytime he put the ball on the floor.

It really was. He was a bucket getter this year.
As one of the dying few who still get a newspaper delivered each day and have happy memories as a kid of getting up each morning to get the paper and look at MLB box scores among everything else in the sports section, this made me even happier. And then got to meet Will Riley's family in Milwaukee before he absolutely destroyed Sean Miller and Xavier in the tournament last year. Absolutely love this video.
