Brad would tell you the exact same thing as Finch.
If I were Ayo or TSJ either one I would be looking to play somewhere else than Minnesota next year. Next year once the starters get back Ayo is likely to be done the same way as he was by the Bulls and TSJ has been mostly buried on the bench his whole time there.
TJ responded pretty well to the BU Fart noise presser. He's a grown man, he doesn't strike me as someone who gets his confidence rattled easily.
Am i reading this right that Finch believes TSJ isn't playing D?
If you read the comments from their fans on twitter, not playing defense describes several of the starters, and it is ok by coach. They also suggested that if he had played during the season this could have been fixed long ago. Only one guy said anything remotely complementary about Finch.

I think there’s definitely 2 sides to that one.
On one hand, sure Shannon could have prolly been handled different/better…and got some more PT. It also doesn’t escape me about the line up of defensive stalwarts on the roster and in the league these days in general. {sarcasm}

Yet…he’s the coach. It’s his prerogative and I guess he’s got his reasons. Nothing he said was unreasonable. Also, Stacey King you played for Billy Tubbs. Hard to get more old school than that. It’s on brand, for King apparently…underclassman Stacey nearly transferred in ‘88 when he didn’t get enough PT in the S16 loss to Iowa.
