McDaniels had a night to forget. 17pts but 5-22 shooting. Shot it decent from 3 (3/8) but missed a ton of mid range shots.

Wemby is Thanos on the defensive end, he changes the geography of the floor.
+19 with tsj .....and team was -26 in 20 minutes without tsj....unbelievable..
His defensive energy and ability to move the ball offset his limited offense. Jaden McDaniels was -15 as lowest impact starter.
Anyone else think Randle’s looked horrid since the game 1?

credit the refs for the right call there in ejecting Wemby… he’s been getting the Edey treatment generally otherwise. Great opportunity for the Wolves and our guys.

Shannon has five missed layups. The one at the end should’ve been a foul.

that's what I thought
Thus far, San Antonio are just the much better team. They are controlling every aspect of this game without their star player which has to be demoralizing for Minnesota. TSJ has had his moments of good plays, but also some really bad moments. Ayo, on the other hand, has just not played well. Overall, not a great day for the former Illini Timberwolves. Hopefully we see both of them bounce back in the remainder of this game.
