dumbest thing for bulls. they could have kept ayo for 4/80 he got paid bc of playoffs. wagler would have learned so much under his leadership.

while getting claxton for free is great, they also helped them sign ayo which hurts.

IMHO it depends on whether the dumb coach wants him to have the minutes. He could get plenty.

With Randle out of the picture, Reid moves into the starting lineup. So likely starting 5: Gobert, Reid, McDaniels, Ayo, Ant.

With Donte, likely out for the season, TSJ is probably the first guy off the bench, and subbing for any of the 3 starting wing/guards. (basically Ayo's role there prior to the Vincenzo injury) He was clearly better than Hyland in the playoffs. I'd say removing Randle's minutes freed up a lot of time for others to step up. He's in the best position to take advantage.

While there is a very real chance this is all true, Hyland as more of a distributor does play a more complementary role to Ant than TSJ and Clark got more minutes than TSJ in the regular season despite all the talk of using TSJ more last offseason. On paper it looks good for him going forward, but I'm just not sure I trust it.

Also I think the main point of the original post was to predict Ayo's first All-Star appearance.

Alright NBA fans, explain this to me like I'm 5. Is this a good thing or a bad thing for Kasparas? I'm assuming a good thing since Milwaukee really wanted him, so that means he will probably get plenty of minutes.

I think he will get more time on the court. I think it depends what the Bucks decide to do. Do they build around Herro or are they shipping him off to a place like Detroit? Do they hold on to Ware? Either way, I'd think KJ stays with the Bucks and plays quite a bit. The Bucks could potentially rebound quite fast. Some nice picks this year and if Giannis doesn't age gracefully and Miami scuffle, some more of those picks could be good ones for them. I'm not sure how the future draft picks rules work. I thought the rules for draft picks expire after the 28/9 season.
I think this is good for KJ as far as getting on the court. If Ware continue to trend upward and Herro sticks, it's not the worst team I've seen.

And Miami didn't want to trade him, so he's obviously impressing a lot of folks with his progression. (Remember, he just turned 20.)

He's going to play, and probably a lot, so that's good...but...
He's leaving one of the best organizations in the business. Pat Riley is a HOF coach and overall basketball savant and Eric Spoelstra is going to be in the HOF someday.
The Bucks just lost a superstar who is still in his prime because they couldn't figure out how to put a team around him, so...

I'm going to vote it's worse, but not by much, because he will get a lot of run in Milwaukee and w/o a ton of pressure.

Yeah, BUT...he drew more fans into the NBA world-wide... And I'm a Bulls fan and he remained loyal to them... And I saw him in person maybe 25 times. He was truly Babe Ruth incarnated.

the only school that MJ wanted to attend was... UCLA! And, despite being HS player of the year, he wasn't offered a scholarship!

Randle SF 33 mpg and McDaniel PF 32 mpg are gone.

Backcourt - Ayo, ANT. TSJ is clear first one off the bench. He proved himself in playoffs.
Backcourt Bench - Conley (39 years old) 18 mpg Bones Hyland 16 mpg, Jaylen Clark 13 mpg, Dante D 30 mpg (out for season)
Front Court - Gobbert, Reid, Ingles (if he is not injured)

Great opportunity for TSJ. He will backup ANT and Ayo. Plus he can play SF to gobble Randle minutes
