I'll be surprised if he doesn't make a roster. He's accurate and makes good decisions. Once he adjusts, he could be the guy that does well with enough talent around him, or as a solid guy to fill in for one of the elite guys in the league. Problem is that every NFL team wants a generational guy at QB so they value potential highly.

Altmyer's ceiling is probably a Chase Daniel type QB. Solid career backup who can spot start for 2 or 3 games but you're kinda screwed if you need him long term over a season.

for guys with physical attributes like Luke , it will take some luck along with his mental toughness .

He could very well end up having a decent NFL playing career , or he could also be out of the league in 3 years with bad luck and bad place / timing

That's the floor IMO if we're coming. What people are really underestimating is the clutch gene.

I could see some scenario if he is on the bench where he has to lead them whether regular season, playoffs possibly even Super Bowl and march them right down the field to win. As long as you have that, with his skills, there are a lot of possibilities.

their first contact amount is slotted & really part of the cba. the real money is after year 4 if you are still in the league

Came here for info. But I guess no one knows.
Social media comments say pre-existing injury but that could just be the team trying to setup a narrative in order to get some non guaranteed portion in the contract. So nobody knows. And I don’t trust reporters who are more likely to put out news favorably to the teams they cover.

Not sure if it's possible for him to go to the UFL but he'd probably be the best player in that league.
