His bio on X still says DB @ University of Illinois. I never mind a player repping his hometown as it may not be the biggest and could motivate people who grew up like him watching.

The players that come out of HS with no college generally say their town or HS.

I mean other Illinois players. Feels like whenever I see Kerby Joseph and other Illinois starters, they hardly say Illinois is all. Completely anecdotal of course, so could be more than I am recollecting while buzzed on a Wednesday evening 😅
