Bulls Front Office is worried about Lonzo even playing again ... Dude still can barely make it up the stairs at his own house ... Has not run full speed since January

Ayo is gonna start and if he produces, he will be in line for the BIG BAG 💰
I think Caruso has the inside track at starting - at least last year they started him when healthy. Ayo and Coby White will get plenty of playing time as well, but I don't think Ayo is a shoe in to start

That really stinks for him and the Bulls. That is a big loss and I feel really bad for the kid. Where do the Bulls go from here? Lonzo made them go and he could defend. They might not be a playoff team at this point. I am not counting on DeRozan having another career year.

I don't think you can necessarily count Goran Dragic out of it. He's a bit too high usage and might just be past the point in his career where he can carry that kind of role, but he's a real NBA PG.

The lineup the Bulls would like to play is Caruso-LaVine-DeRozan-Williams-Vucevic but it's just tough to run offense with that group.

The Lonzo thing just sucks so much. He's a unique player who is pitch-perfect for that role in this team, elevating the things LaVine and DeRozan can do while compensating for their weaknesses. It's not the same machine without him.

I’ve always been a huge Dragic fan but I still have no idea why he jumped.

I'd wager his season is cooked. If not all - most of it.
I guess I'm thinking about it differently based on his candor in recently describing what he'd gone through.

He's either going to be right within the normal timeframe of a meniscus repair, or whatever's going on isn't fixable and he's not coming back as anything like his former self if at all.

That they couldn't find what was wrong on the MRI was alarming. But I take this tweet to mean they were at least able to identify something wrong when they got in there.

The attitude here isn't going to be "better safe than sorry", it's now more "get into game action, we need to prove this is actually fixed"

I'm not sure how uncommon this is. Certain types of tissue do not show well on the scans. When they couldn't see what was wrong with my knee, they brought in the orthopedic surgeon for the Bears. He spend about two minutes twisting my knee while watching when I turned white and involuntarily grabbed the table. At that point he said "I know the problem." He operated and was right.
