Well he can still shoot, dunk, and dominate in transition, if you were curious about what you're missingSadly it doesn't look as though it is televised on anything I have access to
I hope you’re right. Typically his style of play is not conducive to a super long career. He’ll have to continue to evolve, but he has the work ethic to do it.He's gonna have a long career. He can score at all three levels. He's big, fast, and strong enough to defend all over the court. And less talented guys than him have managed to make one All-Star team. Let's come back to this in a few years.
Regular playing time would helpI love TSJ but there's a huge leap from where he is now to an all star selection.

I believe bardo sees him.The NBA fits TJ so well. I happen to think the style in the NBA will also help KJ tremendously. The players in that league are just so good at pretty much everything, it creates so much space and when guys are elite 3 level players like TJ, there isn’t much you can and usually there are atleast 4 of those type of guys on the court at the same time in the NBA.
KJ probably isn’t the athlete that TJ is, but he definitely can score at all 3, has the size and quickness to defend and disrupt 1 on 1, and his vision is just off the charts. KJ probably won’t have too many times where he has a ball screen blitzed up top on that level at least through the course of 82 games.
I’d assume just the fact of him using his speed and athleticism would be what they are talking about, but the fact that he is also strong, durable, and a 3 level scorer kind of helps when he starts slowing down. What about his style are you talking about?
Don’t want to speak for him, but he probably has the feeling of dread as to what happened to DRose. I know it hasnt been that long ago from Rose’s prime, but I think he’d be even better in today’s NBA. The space that has to be given in this league is incredible. What about his style are you talking about?
That’s kind of a random and pessimistic take…just because TSJ is an uber athlete doesn’t mean he’s feeling dread over his career because of what happened to Rose. Derrick Rose had trainers in his ear for a loooong time warning him of his landing mechanics and what kind of danger he was putting himself in. Passive fans could see he’d often land rigid on a straight leg and it didn’t look right… It was well documented that he didn’t train his body properly or take that aspect of his game nearly as seriously as he should have. He paid for it. Players may take note of Rose’s situation as a reason to train their bodies right but I don’t think he’s dreading that his career is going to get derailed due to multiple freak injuriesDon’t want to speak for him, but he probably has the feeling of dread as to what happened to DRose. I agree and by no means is that my take. That was only thing I could think of as it would relate to that type of explosive play style. That’s kind of a random and pessimistic take…just because TSJ is an uber athlete doesn’t mean he’s feeling dread over his career because of what happened to Rose. Derrick Rose played in the NBA for 15 years, and made over 160 million dollars. I realize there are many what ifs regarding his career, but it’s hardly a cautionary tale. There are many sadder stories regarding uber-talented players. That’s kind of a random and pessimistic take…just because TSJ is an uber athlete doesn’t mean he’s feeling dread over his career because of what happened to Rose. Yeah I love Rose and he was a special player but looking back his biomechanics were awful. That’s kind of a random and pessimistic take…just because TSJ is an uber athlete doesn’t mean he’s feeling dread over his career because of what happened to Rose. Man, personally this is a huge disappointment for me. Coming into town for the Purdue game and have tix for the Pacers game, my first Bulls game in probably 20 years, specifically to see Ayo. I've been hoping he'd be back by the 10th. Just majorly bummed now.
His shot was noticeably getting better until the injury. Good that the focus is on recovery and rehab instead of playing out the season injured on a team that's going nowhere
