What a day!

Who would have thought we would be the school that killed it in the country club sports?

We got the 16 seed in the 16 team NCAA tournament. How does that work? We have the best record in the field. We have already beaten at least three of the teams ranked above us. Granted, the B10 isn't that strong but still.....

Illinois and Ohio State both got ripped off in the seeding. They used the same formula of your best wins to rank and because they played only a conference schedule (other than ITA indoor nationals), their overall strength of schedule did them no favors

That stinks. But I suspect it's the teams on the other side of their path to advance who feel most ripped off. The 16 seed isn't a walk-over this year.

Ohio State knocked off the #10 seed, Wake Forest, 4-1. They had beaten them 5-1 earlier in the season. They have to play #7 TCU next and I assume they have a good chance of winning that

ugh. Southern Cal was ranked #1 when we beat (stomped) them. Virginia was #7 when we beat them. Our only losses were to #4 Baylor at that point and #9 Ohio State at that point. We came back and beat Ohio State in the conference tournament.

Illinois had some good wins, but not enough of them. Of course, that wasn't their fault
