We are not stopping the dribble drive to the rim. This cost us a home win against the Tigers and it hurt us again today.
The Razorbacks were just as cold from beyond the arc. So they started driving to the hoop and stayed with us. Cook is beginning to
regain her form. Our non-conference schedule is night and day more difficult this season. Still I like that we are playing these tougher games.
IMO this is how you get better as a team. I firmly believe we have the staff that can build a consistent winning program at Illinois.

End of 3rd quarter .. Illinois 58 UTEP 56 ... we had a 9-point lead with 2:10 left in the 3rd quarter and looked like we would be pulling away, but let UTEP back in the game.

3:51 left in the game .. Illini jump back out to a 9-point lead at 72-63. UTEP calls a timeout. It's been a good 4th quarter for Adalia McKenzie. She has 18 points, Bryant has 15, and Cook has 13.

After a rough game yesterday Dal was once again our X factor. Ms. Minnesota may be disappointed if she is expecting to see
snow when she goes home for Christmas. Good assist to shot ratio today. Balanced scoring today. And we tossed in a zone!
Merry Christmas to everyone associated with my favorite WBB team. Traveling mercies over the holidays. On to conference play.

Congrats. A really needed win. Hopefully the ship is headed in the right direction and the preseason expectations are met or exceeded.

Last year there were no expectations for WBB. This year people expect Shauna to do better than last year. Unfortunately it appears our team is essentially unchanged - very undersized, short bench. Unless the newcomers really come thru it will be a long season.

Great entertaining game against #16 Indiana in front of a packed house. Illini down by a point at almost the end of third quarter. Filmed very well and decent announcers on BTN.

47-49 at end of 3rd. had it a 2 pts at beginning, quickly went to 11, then closed on 10-1 run. on BTN. couple chances to tie/take lead in last min.

#16 Indiana 77 - 71. Incredibly entertaining game. Illini put up a good fight, and more than met my expectations. Newcomer/transfer Camille Hobby makes a difference. Sharp coaching by Shauna & Staff.

77-71, bad guys. Incredible game. Heartbreaking finish. Inarguably, it's the best we’ve looked all season. Couldn’t be more glad we used the time between games wisely. Gotta hand it to Holmes, she’s a beast and took over the game, though a lot of the foul calls down the stretch were incredibly soft. Thankfully, we got our Makira back. Much more efficient. KB with a season-high, 18. We play like this the rest of the way, we still have a chance to make some serious noise this season.
