I am increasingly concerned about losing Coach Green to a school that puts 10,000 fans in the stands for women's basketball.
I think the fans are going to start showing up. Why go anywhere Ike’s when you are making good money here and on your way to becoming a legend?

BTN+ gets us not only women’s basketball, volleyball, baseball and softball, wrestling, gymnastics. For ten bucks a month? Some people play that much for a cup of coffee.
I subscribed for only one month to see the men‘s first two games. Back then who knew the women would put the men‘s team to shame.

ILL

As for coffee, I do Sip n Save at my local Circle K convenience store. $5.99 for one cup a day for 30 days. It’s ground to order.

Let's take a look at WBB attendance this season. In summary, the fans have responded to the Shauna Green Era with an immediately surge in fan support.

Average attendance (2,739) is up 121% over last season (1,237).

WBB did have the crazy Field Trip Day (8,141) back in November which skews things a bit, so let's take that out of the calculation.

Average attenance without Field Trip Day (2,064) is up 67% over last season (1,237).

Average attenance without Field Trip Day (2,064) is nearly the same as last season's biggest home crowd (2,066).

There are 6 home games left this season. Go Illini

Tickets are five buck a pop. Best deal in town. Plenty of general admission seats within a couple rows from the court located under the baskets.

Ton of BTN games depend on the day, time, other sports(wrestling, track, etc that I don't think about) and matchup. Team has off until next Sunday, January 15th vs Minnesota.

Must be a slow conference day on Thursday, January 12th. The two guys games are on FS1 at 5:30 and ESPN2 at 6. Women Maryland at Indiana should be a decent first game on BTN. The doubleheader to that at 8:30 is Rutgers 7-10 (1-4) at Minnesota 8-8 (1-4). Ouch! Looks like BTN puts out a schedule almost 2 weeks in advance online which might be subject to change at times.

They've had two home games scheduled in the middle of the day on a weekday this year (11 a.m. and noon on Weds.) Not conducive to a lot of fans. Several other games are on weeknights which, again, are tough for out of towners. The only home weekend game that we've had vs. a reputable opponent was Iowa which drew a nice crowd (4800). We have three more home games on a weekend. I expect those to draw well.

Coach Green will get a lot of recognition for COY both in the conference and nationally. JW with another home run hire. I believe we will get a top 6 seed in the Dance.
Long way to go on this but it’s doable. B10 has 4 teams in the top 12. It’s a grueling schedule but they are 1-2 vs those teams so far. Need to stay healthy for sure and if we beat the lower half teams we will be in good shape.

One of the delights for me so far this season has been seeing the development of the players. This is especially true for the five returning from last year.
KB jumps to the head of my list with her growing ability to add scoring along with her terrific rebounding. Jayla is coming off the bench along with Jada and both look more confident in taking shots and working the D. Adalia seems to be positioned to score on drives and her rebounding against much taller players is impressive. Geo has come in and provided minutes to give KB some rest. It gives me hope for the development of the players on the bench.

I think the team knows if they are in position to take a good open shot Coach Green is all for it. They move the ball and make the extra pass showing
they are confident and trust each other. We are #2 in the country as of today in 3 pt. % at 41.32 as a team! Genesis is shooting her 3 pt shots at 49.41%!
Makira is averaging 18 pts. per game. Brynn is giving teams one more good shooter they have to try and defend. Perhaps most amazing of all we have the 29th best winning % in the country. Yes we have room to grow and improve but I feel confident this team will continue to work hard under the guidance of our
top drawer coaching staff. Thank you JW for hopping in your rental car and ringing the door bell at Coach Green's home in Dayton. Go Illini!

Or you can get a soft drink! I had to quit it because I was drinking too much Diet Coke! But the women are worth 10 bucks…

Just watched the last half of the Iowa game replay on BIG, really good game, so well played by both teams. Iowa has a guard , Clark, number 22, who shoots the lights out on looong distance 3s.

Iowa had a better 3 pt game and a real advantage in the post, but the Illini are really a well coached team and have some quick guards who can penetrate. They are maybe one big from being really really good.

Looking for replay of the OSU game

Let me know if you find it please. So far the B10+ games seem to be replayed on B10+, not on BTN.
