Heck of a deal!A ticket to the men's game vs. Indiana will also get you into the women's game vs. Indiana the night before.

Perfect way to get some butts in the seats. Once people have been, they will be far more likely to return.A ticket to the men's game vs. Indiana will also get you into the women's game vs. Indiana the night before.
they will come back if they enjoyed the experience , cost of the ticket is not really the important partPerfect way to get some butts in the seats. Once people have been, they will be far more likely to return.
I'm doing my part! Just grabbed tickets for the game against Maryland in College Park. Bringing along some friends. It'll be their first time going to a women's game. Could not be more excited to cheer on the team, convert some more women's basketball fans, and hopefully get some revenge for the men. That’s in Piscataway, btw. Don’t consider just going to games at the Assembly Hall. If you’re not in the area but near an away game site, go there and wear Orange! Give our women a bit of home away from home.
Agreed. Just have to get them there the first time. Free tickets is good way to do that!they will come back if they enjoyed the experience , cost of the ticket is not really the important part
Going through health issues so damn it would be nice to get to these games.Heck of a deal!
GPM, get better and in the meantime, hope you have B1G+.Going through health issues so damn it would be nice to get to these games.
I believe it will be on B1G+.no TV for two ranked teams?
Correcto. As will most of remaining games. Inexpensive at $9.95 month - easy to purchase and easy to cancel at end of season.I believe it will be on B1G+.
Media team deserves a raise for this masterpiece.
Asinineno TV for two ranked teams?
Why? I’d love for it to be on regular BTN and would watch, but OSU men are playing Neb on BTN. So you would have been fine if BTN had shown a game between 2 ranked women’s teams on Monday instead of the Illini-Minn game? It’s not like the game tonight isn’t being broadcast.Asinine
I mean, yeah. OSU and Nebraska are currently two of the bottom three worst teams in the conference. I'd like to get to a point where the best game is shown, regardless of gender. And I mean, the Big Ten Network has overflow channels. They use them for football all the time. Put the bad men's game on there when the women have the more tantalizing matchup. But alas, here we are. I'll be watching on BTN+ and hoping the OSU vs. Nebraska game gets the terrible ratings it deserves. Why? We are ranked in the top 25, beat Iowa, almost beat IU and OSU on their home floors and this clown has us as an 8? Billboard material to beat IU handily.Women a projected #8 seed as of today.
Women's Bracketology: All eyes on final projection
Who's in and who's out? Surprises will likely come when the bracket is revealed (8 p.m. ET, ESPN), but not at the top. South Carolina is No. 1 overall.www.espn.com
Yes, the BTN game isn’t exactly a marquee match up, but in my example Illini were .500 in conf and Minny the worst team in conference. Again, less than a stellar matchup. As much as some would like it, women’s game doesn’t have the same size audience. I mean a dual wrestling meet between PSU and Iowa is one heck of a matchup, but that isn’t bouncing any men’s basketball games either.I mean, yeah. As has been shown with the USWNT, NWSL, WNBA, Women's NCAA Tournament, and College Softball World Series, if you broadcast it regularly, people will show up to watch. Yeah, when you broadcast one-off women's games here and there, people won't even realize they're on and of course, those games won't get solid ratings. But if you show games regularly, fans have shown there's a market for women's sports. The men's game has had close to a 50-year headstart in building a following. Give the women a chance and fans will come. And I mean, what the absolute heck, if any channel should have more equitable broadcasting, it should be the freaking BTN. I'm sorry, though, this little rant obviously isn't about you. It's just a fundamental frustration with the way women's sports are treated.Yes, the BTN game isn’t exactly a marquee match up, but in my example Illini were .500 in conf and Minny the worst team in conference. I don’t know why they don’t use the overflow channels more. In fact every time I check thinking that a game might be on an overflow channel it has the same thing on as the regular channel. Again, I’d love for the game to be on and would watch it over the OSU-Neb game, but outside of IL and Ind fans, that’s probably not the case. And I’ll admit, if men’s Illini team got bumped for a women’s game, I’d be pissed — no matter what the match up.
