If it doesn't mean anything than likely we don't land the recruit. Shauna Green sells herself.....she plays chess while fans look at the smaller picture
She literally knows the area and has ties to recruiting that area since being a coach before Illinois. It's all about getting your foot in the door. If a coach goes on a recruiting trip, more times than not they are looking at multiple players and talk to coaches in the state. Kind of like they offered a 2027 and 2028 recruit the other day, already looking at recruits in classes after that one. She recruited Ohio and New York heavily at Dayton, still doing it now. Connections are still in place. All good if you don't agree.
I think Casey has been talking to ex-Big Ten Commish Kevin Warren.

Its been a long time in hell/purgatory. Grentz retired in 2007 but last NCAA bid was 2002 so 22 years....
