Shoup-Hill made an impression tonight.
A big question as we embark on the season is who will be a solid front-court partner for Bostic. Lety is out for the season. Best candidates are Shoup-Hill and Bollin. Bollin out of the lineup tonight, and Shoup-Hill played with purpose and energy against a very good Florida State front-court. Looked like a totally different player compared with last season.
And #25 IU loses at home to unranked Harvard in OT. Great day for women’s basketball!

We were off to a fast start tonight thanks in a big part to Dal. Coach calls her the X Factor.
I am going to call Brynn our X Factor #2. She was strong on the boards along with KB. That was a
tall front court they were up against. We drove the ball to the basket for points and FT opportunities. Good thing as we shot 15% behind the arc tonight. I like the defense. We hedged and we switched, unlike the other team that practices in Ubben.
I guess I am old school that way. We led start to finish. Hoping we continue to build our attendance numbers. How about 5000+ for Sunday's game against the Golden Eagles.

great presser by coach Green , KB and Dalia....................we now have the coach and staff to make some noise in the B$G and Nationally.........................we also have a veteran squad looking to redeem last years record and winning the WBIT last year has showed the team what they are capable of .......
Coach Green is recruiting awesomely and I feel great about where the WBB program FINALLY is at.......so many years of embarrassing losses and non competitive teams to now where we are and where we are going to be ......

Looks like Coach Green and team are headed into a banner season. As the program continues to improve, and attendance picks up... hope to see some active game threads here.
I believe if this team wins it's first 10 there will be a massive turnaround in attention.. People will realize what I already believe that because of the senior experience,talent upgrades,and damn good coaching ,it could be a second weekend team...
We can't have any early injuries so coach has to give more minutes to that bench. Once they get that greenness out....Then lookout..
To win the first ten we would have to beat two more top 25 teams - Kentucky and Ohio State. Green is 0-2 vs. Ohio State while at Illinois
You're right but who said it would be easy? I think we have the discipline to beat Ohio State plus depth,even though they looked kinda green in this first game, they have great leadership..The new Kentucky I saw looks big and well coached but we got talent and experience and discipline..It's real possible...
