USC over Illini 40 - 36 at Half. Can't believe Illini hanging in there. USC is the most physical team I have seen in a long time. Illini will be well bruised up.

Couldn't get away when USC went cold. Then they started to press. Breaking the press has been an issue for three years and it hasn't gotten any easier with only one ball handler. Keep playing good defense and try to make smarter decisions with the basketball.

Very proud of the Illini. Agree with Pru - I love this team. Gave it all they could against a vastly superior team and a tough load crowd. Back hime to heal up for a week before last game against Michigan at home. Then on to BTT.
