Well. I would recommend they transfer out if they don’t get minutes. You only have 4 years. Make the most of it. Look at the men, they transfer if even they are getting playing time.

You sure would think we would add someone but it wouldnt shock me if we dont. With Manu back next year we are 9 deep. Adding someone could disrupt chemistry. I think whoever we add better be a 5 star or some one willing to sit a year. The roster as is has a ton of potential. We have 5 or 6 players capable of being all B1G. We have an all Big East player who doesnt even start! I expect some ups and downs this year but next year and the year after are gonna be fun.
It’s tough getting ranked in women’s bball. So many good teams but we haven’t played many of them.
Keep winning. We look like we can.
Let's not discount Erica Finney..This team definitely could use some a couple of outside (consistent) sharpshooters..

Great win, but not surprised at all no ranking. Have they beaten any other team above .500 other than Murray St? Oregon isn’t ranked and their only loss is to UCLA. And they trounced the only team Illini lost to.
Well Oregon State is their home rivals and I'm sure if this team played that team now...I look forward to seeing thass of recruits all play together on the court next season...
If no one transfers, we'll only have 1 scholarship open (Segura-grad student). No news about recruiting freshman.
Wow I looked at the recruiting profile and not one of our recruits chose the Illini...I'm shocked...At least we recruited great talent...We did get beat out by bigger names...I think if the crowds get bigger and we have like a notable win streak and surprising chase to a title ..?? I hope things get better

One thing I noticed in the watching the blowout games yesterday on B1G+ is the amount of depth on our bench so I wonder if it’s deliberate.
Skip a year, use money to retain and become an old team. We have some stud young starters too.
Well it wasn't deliberately done...I'm sure they wanted at least one person instate who is ranked number 7 nationally went to Clemson? And I know they wanted GG Battle but she chose Indiana.There were a couple other as well... Fortunately we will get new blood next season because of redshirts.I believe that the portal will be fruitful as well.... Winning big this season would help a lot... Support for the team needs to amp up too.I saw too many recruit losses to conference foes...Oh yeah it may seem like me harping on it but going forward we can't recruit a top 100 player and bury them on the bench, especially when you're up 36 points.... Unless they are hurt.

The portal is a two-way street, as we will likely lose some players due to better offers/more playing time, etc. If the season continues as it started, I don’t see many guards or small forwards, especially a graduate transfer, considering ILL. Jackson is playing very well, and unless something goes really wrong, you have to believe that she will be the starting point guard until she graduates, same situation with Wallace at forward. A similar situation with the combination of Dolan, Webber and Brown-Hagger at the wing. Side note, I checked the Memphis page and was happy to see that Cori Allen has started every game and playing 28 minutes per game. At the end of the day, for most players, it is all about playing time.

One grad senior, don’t think Shauna expects many to transfer. Take your swing at the top girls if not reload in portal this offseason
It kinda makes me wonder if the women are doling out bigger NIL packages ... Because we got 3 foreign players and a hometown girl and one from Shauna Greens bedrock recruiting area...I hope the Illini are as cheap as the Chicago Sky.I really believe if we get the ONE player ( which I thought was Burruss)to get over the hump,creates bigger crowds and plenty of excitement....Just to lock up the state talent..March Madness would belong to our state again... Illinois is the founding state of March Madness you know?
I believe this team can come up HUGE with 3 things that can happen
1.We need Destiny to average say 12 to 13 PPG,We need Lety progress heavy and quickly . Finally Maddie, Gretchen and Jaz to total 36 points 11 rebounds and 7 assists collectively..I think Berry knows her role.Really play the other bigs just for energy
