I dont think anyone outside of those with a need know that. Shauna is extremely close lipped when it comes to injuries. At least thats my perception over the time shes been here.

Berry just couldnt get her shots to drop tonight. 3-17. Aaliyah played 2 minutes only. CeCe was fantastic again. Lety really battled.

tough game last night............ucla fouled like banshe's and always acted like disbelief when one was called............they mugged Berry all over the court last night with few fouls called.................Betts' elbows are going to cause serious injury unless she gets called for an offensive foul......her tech was deserved......

just a bad matchup as Lety is tall enough but not even close to the athleticism of Betts.........

another year with a major player or players being injured..............we need a healthy sharpshooting Gretchen back ASAP..............

We really really do................GO ILLINI !!!!!!!!

I like how Lety battled against the Betts sisters. She had her hands full, especially with Lauren (who looks almost unstoppable). UCLA truly is deep in bigs and the whole team are high quality recruits. UCLA looks the part of #2 in the country. I was glad Illini were able to pull within 4-5 at times but eventually UCLA kept Illini at bay (no surprise). Outside Lety, Illini have no bigs (Hayven not good, Cearah too small). UCLA also had better outside shooters and players that can drive.

In the past Shauna has announced injuries if out for season. Haven’t seen that, so there is a chance.
Is Dolan on the Boswell return timeline or Ty Rodgers return timeline???

I listened to Coach Green encourage fans to come out for the February 8th game against USC. The goal is to sell out the SFC. Interestingly they chose Super Bowl Sunday for this challenge. However there is plenty of time to take in the Noon game and make it to your watch party. I think the last time we had a large attendance was during the Teresa Grentz era. We were playing Purdue for the Conference Championship. That got me wondering how we stand overall in attendance so far this season. Of the top twenty DI teams we rank 19th at 4,380. Just ahead of Oregon at 4,200 and just behind Virginia at 4,500.
Interestingly UCLA only averages 4,800 as the third ranked team in the country! Washington, Nebraska and Michigan are all in the 5,000's. Maryland and Purdue in the 6000 range. And naturally Iowa is around 13,000. Seems like we should be able to start climbing in these rankings. Great support for our young team and not a bad indicator of fan interest to recruits. Let's make it happen. At the very least tie the Hawkeyes for one game!!

My daughter, age 7, asks me why do we only go to men’s sports ball games. Legit question. So we’re going today to Seattle to cheer on the Illini, but she informs me that she’s a WA fan, since she was born here.

Up 51 40 end of 3rd. Defense has been consistently good for most of the game plus good rebounding, some transition points, and out hustling UW
