Can someone please explain what Gretchen's injury is and the timeline for her return?
We were lucky tonight in that I think they only made one 3. The last five games their three guards all shot over 50% from behind the arc.Need to throw some zone into protect Letty and make them shoot. All their points are at the basket. UCLA shooting only 11% from 3.gavrvto make them shoot over us.
I dont think anyone outside of those with a need know that. Shauna is extremely close lipped when it comes to injuries. At least thats my perception over the time shes been here. Can someone please explain what Gretchen's injury is and the timeline for her return?

I like how Lety battled against the Betts sisters. She had her hands full, especially with Lauren (who looks almost unstoppable). UCLA truly is deep in bigs and the whole team are high quality recruits. UCLA looks the part of #2 in the country. I was glad Illini were able to pull within 4-5 at times but eventually UCLA kept Illini at bay (no surprise). Outside Lety, Illini have no bigs (Hayven not good, Cearah too small). UCLA also had better outside shooters and players that can drive.I dont think anyone outside of those with a need know that. Shauna is extremely close lipped when it comes to injuries. Berry just couldnt get her shots to drop tonight. 3-17. Aaliyah played 2 minutes only. CeCe was fantastic again. Lety really battled.
I have to watch the full game on YouTube. Highlights were all UCLA.CeCe was about as efficient shooting as Keaton. 10 of 13 attempts. 3 of 4 FT and 3 of 4 behind the arc. 7 rebounds. Destiny played well and cut down turnovers. The Bruins are really big as well as strong. Now out to face more ranked teams in the NW.
Three kids here, all UW grads, … but they tolerate my Illini loveMy daughter, age 7, asks me why do we only go to men’s sports ball games. Legit question. So we’re going today to Seattle to cheer on the Illini, but she informs me that she’s a WA fan, since she was born here.
A house divided…
