We should be ranked after this game. Top 10 team and we outlasted them.

I was able to sync up the radio feed with the TV when I watched. KB is really good with her analysis of the game. Later I went back and rewatched the 2nd half with the BIG10 announcers. Shimmy was good, but the other announcer might as well have been wearing a Maryland jersey.
I am enjoying KB’s contributions to the broadcast as well. I know she was recalling the big win at Maryland last year. The crowd sounded so loud I thought attendance was more than the 5200. However when everyone is filling most of lower bowl it can be loud. An exciting win like this should help grow attendance. Plus students will be returning.

Spartans are ranked 24th. Ohio State next home game 1/07. They are ranked 19th. With students back it would be great to have over 6000 attending!

Three way tie for first in the B1GI think we match up well with Michigan State A decent shot at Ohio State . From there I think we do well against all other teams Michigan,UCLA,and because it's so late in the season USC will be a battle,but my 9 and 9 conference predictions has gone to 14 and 4.Our freshmen are playing like juniors .Our go to players Our bench is just stout(and could get even deeper..).. I'm going to Hollywood here but a 3 seed with a semi appearance in the B1GI tournament is all realistic...Or is this too much Orange Koolaid??lol.

14-4 might be a stretch. The B1G is a gauntlet. But I could see 10-8/11-7, which would be a heck of a season.
Not sure where to put this, but Illini women's team is on a roll and they just kept it going with a huge win over #6 Maryland at SFC. Gretchen Dolan's ongoing improvement can't be overstated. I know this is what Coach Green expected. On the highlights, the crowd looked bigger; I hope that's the case. If I weren't so crippled up, I'd attend some of their games. It's great to see this team excel!

Such an impressive win for the WBB program.......the great play by our 2 frosh starters really shows how deep this team is , and the plays Destiny made in the 4th qtr playing with 4 fouls was incredible......
we need an over/under chart on how many times CC hits the floor and bounces back up..........Berry Wallace is definitely a
1st team all B$G.......she has improved every aspect of her game and with the Illini being the youngest B$G team this year the future looks awesome............

Maybe the Koolaid is spiked..lol. But just looking at the team from the PG to all of the guards,they are skilled,smart, talented and well coached .The wings are B1G seasoned by the grittiest teams of the past decades from last year's group (including Parchment)of heart and soul Winners.Heck,they got more spice than a twenty piece lemon pepper combo from Wingstop..The centers they give them HUGE flexibility with Vasconcelos getting better.The bench scoring and dependability has shown itself very well .. Seriously the only thing I see causing a disruption on this team is maybe a freshman wall after the turnaround of the first nine games and rescouting happens. But their formula for winning is very repeatable.Defensive prowess, rebounding and free throw action..That's why I'm sold...That's why I can handle the spike in my Koolaid,.We just need the crowds to get bigger for a little more mojo..

I got very concerned when Dolan's late drive for a layup just bounced out and then even more when CC missed those 2 FT's , but the grit and will stopping the twerps from scoring again made it a great victory.....it really really did.....
