Come on Shauna - bring in the 5 star rim protector center !

Talk to Brad about getting help from the Balkans

Hate to have all our eggs in one basket - Manuela coming off knee injury

Cearah is really a stretch 4. Irene needs to get a a lot stronger.

Really would like to see a center in the transfer portal or maybe older international player who can contribute immediately

I like to think that the reason we havent brought in a big is because Shauna is confident that we have enough talent with Manu, Lety, and Cearah to get the job done. As it stands now I see a 9 player rotation with Lety getting very limited minutes. Divine is going to be key. Can she live up to her reputation coming out of high school. If so that gives us 4 All B1G caliber players along with 5 others who are plenty good with the potential to also be All B1G.

I assume the 3 roster spots will eventually be filled. By whom I have no idea.

Great news. Love her height, but not really the bruiser post player we need.
Very exciting!

3 year old videos - U16 team. Looks athletic. Can shoot and run the floor. Looks similar to Cearah. Stretch 4. have to believe 3 years later she is stronger and better
the photos I posted above appear to be 3 years old. Very excited. There is another player on her team who is very good. Same size - I assume that is the girl going to UCONN.

nice Daily Illini article on her
