I am proud that y'all pieced it together.
Nothing is a done deal, and no garuntee she could bring anyone she's tied too, but she's tied too alot. If you see them out in public eating dinner, or out in town let these folks know how much you love this team!

On aside.. was the clue easy?
For me? Not one bit. But I suck at Clue, so there's that. And ...

Good coaches surround themselves with great assistants. Hopefully this all does play out to our favor (y)

If so, likely a matter of when and not if she would get promoted just like Gensler

Would we offer a step up from Stanford? What's her incentive to come here? Salary?

Illinois is not a step up at all from Stanford. Stanford is a top 10 women's program over the years....just won championship 2 years ago.

The players have not caught me off guard at all. This was not on my radar one bit if it does go through. It would all be speculation on my end as to why she would make the move....

Tara VanDerveer's reputation and record speaks for itself. She will be 70 this year and not sure if she is slowing down or go another 5 years

Stability? No clue but Green isn't going anywhere unless she would choose to leave. Gensler was on the staff before.....but it is a telling sign for him to land a job after just one year at Illinois. Anderson could easily follow the same trend after a few seasons.

Salary? Bump up in salary I think would have to be a given

Waiting to see what happens myself.....

There's rumors/speculation that something is amiss with Tara. Other Pac-12 wbb fans report Kate Paye is the coach doing the talking in the huddle. (I don't know personally as I don't watch the Trees.) In-game substitution patterns odd.

And Betts entering the portal is truly shocking.

So the wing is coming for an OV visit next week, after an IU visit. I personally think we have more to offer up pt wise because we dont have a Yardin Garzon playing the same position, but that Indiana staff can put together a roster now..

I would be shocked if Kate Paye is not the next Stanford coach once VanDerveer steps down. Won a championship as a player and assistant coach for Stanford. Paye could have landed a ton of jobs by now if she wanted to leave. Stanford is home for her...born and raised. Stanford won't fall off with her taking the reign of the team once it happens.

Edit add on- 2 of the 3 assistant coaches went to Stanford, name mentioned for Illinois did not ;)

Is there any program who has not contacted Aneesah Morrow? With South Carolina, LSU, Iowa, Indiana, Ole Miss and so on contacting her, does Illinois have any chance for the Chicago native?

No Khaleesi indicates something much more significant, I mean she is the mother of dragons. I mean I thought it would be pretty obvious what I was referencing.
Crap! We gotta try to think on a Friday night?
