Good point—In addition to those 3, others might start to consider jumping ship, can’t say I would blame them. The idea of keeping them all together is great, but kids want to play. Why would someone sit on the bench if they could play more and likely get paid the same amount if not more somewhere else.

Every top team in the country is going after Divine/Trinity. How are "we" going to get them? Moving forward we need to keep the team we have plus getting Gretchen, Manuela, and Erica back and move up in the rankings. We were picked 16th by ESPN because of the talent we have. JMHO.
We get them by thinking big. Shauna’s goal is to win big. We’re not going to do that if we only recruit the players the top teams don’t want.
That 16 rating is before the portal season. If we don’t add we’re not going to remain at 16.

Both highly recruited) You're confused, and your comment about #16 ranking makes no sense. The ranking is based on how young we are and playing without 3 TOP people who hopefully will come back. You already said you have no concerns about getting any of the injured players back. Throw 'em under the bus and lets go shopping! Nice fan.

#16 ranking is based on rosters as they stand today. Rosters are going to be much different in a couple of months. If other teams add to their roster and we don’t we will get passed over. That makes sense to me.
We have 3 open scholarships, are we not supposed to use them for fear of someone losing playing time? No one is getting thrown under the bus. They would all have the same opportunity to win playing time.
And Manuela was not a McDAA.
With no additions to the roster this team should be much improved because of the returning injured players and being another year older. But adding more talent especially top level talent is going to speed the process up. That’s all I’m hoping for.

Manuella is going to be a pro....She is very similar to Dugalic from UCLA but just a little more ball handling...She shoots 3s and hustles like trying to be the hardest worker on the team,but she is gifted....If this team gets nobody else..They are going to be a top ten team that loses 5 games or less...
What???You don't think people wanted Destiny or Cearah...or Manuella,heck Naomi too..The class was ranked between 4 and 7 last year.Yoi have two All B1G freshmen first teamers and honestly I think the best of the class was injured....I believe that IF they have donors to pony up the money getting Bourrage and the Jones woman,the investment would pay financially as well..at least 2 to 3 thousand more season tickets..Ten thousand would be the average the way this team would win...
You misunderstood me. I was responding to the previous poster who seemed to imply that because the other top teams were recruiting Divine and Trinity that “we” had no chance. Of course I think others wanted Destiny, Cearah, and Berry. That was exactly my point! Let’s get the most talent we can.

Huge transfer addition in Divine Bourrage
Ked Prince put out a tweet that Divine Bourrage committed to the Beloved last night. Great addition! Like Guyton, I'm not sure if she'll start, but she's an intriguing prospect and quality, athletic guard to add to the rotation. I've heard that Green would love to move Alves into the starting center spot and shift CeCe to the 4 and Berry to the 3. I wonder if that'll still be the case with so much guard depth now. If so, who starts at guard? Destiny for sure then either Dolan, Webber, Brown-Hagger, Guyton, or Bourrage. And that's not including Finney, who is supposed to be a great three-point shooter. Wow! I have a feeling a couple transfers will be happening soon. Hmm.

It's panic time for Tennessee women's basketball
A program rich in women's basketball history has now lost every one of its players in a matter of weeks. Now they've been called out by one of ESPN's finest.
It's a nice guard group. But one a little weak on shooting. Dolan does a lot of good things but, wow, is she a bricklayer that keeps on bricking. Guyton could be overall more aggressive. Brown-Hagger needs consistency. Webber brings energy and talent but maybe needs to improve the D?
One more athletic big and Illinois is set - hopefully to host in the NCAA tournament next year. That should be a realistic goal.
