Well the good news is we beat Minnesota, the bad news is that says more about Minnesota than it does about Illinois.
We'll send seven to nationals which is better than we'd been doing. I still think Byrd can win the whole thing at 133 even though he lost twice this past weekend. Kannon Webster is a dark horse at 157 too, I don't think he was outclassed in his lone defeat.

Oops, checked my math. Eight Illini made nationals. We're only missing a 141 and a 197. I feel like Pucino has been around forever and is still living off a run at B1Gs from like 4 years ago.
Disappointing showing with only two All-Americans and Byrd falling to 8th. Kannon did about what I expected. Kelly went down swingin in the blood rounds but we had several 0-2 entries.
