Up until they put in the walk-ons, every shot felt like it was either: 1) in the paint OR 2) catch and shoot 3.
It’s beautiful to watch.
Every player scored at least 1 point. That's not super remarkable in an exhibition against an overmatched team.
What's remarkable? Every player except for McCoy got a rebound and an assist.

I'd love to compare these three boxes with previous years. Any chance that Brad is going to play the freshmen a bit more to try to keep them happy?
There is going to be some good contributing players that will not be in the rotation, but can build off in the future. All the freshmen have a combination of solid fundamentals and good measurables. Lincoln going to be in the rotation IMHO, he provides a defensive presence we lack and his offense is developing.
I'm seeing starters Brown, Coleman, Andrej, Mirk and Tomi...Off the bench Davis, Vaaks, Lincoln, Big Z. See Davis and Vaaks being the scoring off the bench. The minutes Big Z and Lincoln get will be more match up dependent and their effectiveness. Big Z did not have a good exhibition, but will sub in for Tomi and Mirk.
I hope the Anti-Vaaks-ers out there are taking note; and the running mythology about him not being able/willing to pass dies a horrible death.

Freshman are good .....they really really are ..........the added tick will be benefical later on in the season , and am satisfied that we have more than adequate players that can fill in when needed........

and the cream of the crop of skilled frosh is Quinton Coleman ........motor that never stops , highly skilled in all aspects of a star player..........when we finally get fully healthy and can practice some to get our game on , then we will be a nightmare for ANY opponent that we face.........

I’m still feeling nervous about who is going to step up as the 9th man. Anyone else worried?
In an exhibition game, sure. But in a game that matters, he's going to play whatever guy gives us the absolute best chance of winning. It doesn't matter if he's a Freshman or a 5th year guy or even a walk-on.
We still need downhill energy to keep up that free throw rate. Something we excelled at last year with Keaton. I think Mirk, Vaaks, Andrej, and Q have it in them. But something to keep an eye on.
