Very little of tonight's team win to be critical over. But having a huge lead for most of the game led to periods of sloppy play which is predictable. I sure hope that gets washed of before Sat., and I expect it will as UCLA is just another hurdle to stride over.
I sure love the way this team plays so unselfishly and fires away with 8 hardworking, non-rattling cylinders. Build that confidence and chase the dream guys....you are as capable as any team of winning the big prize.
Great to see all 8 guys playing together....the trainers can take a vacation I hope. Makes me wonder if all the state of the art recovery equipment and health protocols have provided us with any advantage over most others? Go Illini !

It was clear Drej still wasn’t 100% and was hobbling between timeouts so full credit to him for gutting it out. For this team to reach their ceiling, they need both Drej and Kylan. One of them is great, but both of them is elite.

Based on this game alone, I say we willingly replace all our future 11am games with 10:00pm ET games.

Honestly, I feel like a game like this undersells the quality of our defense.
With 5 minutes to go, USC had 51 points. That’s 1.5 points per minute. In the last 5 minutes, after we started taking starters out of the game, USC scored 14 points, 3 points per minute.
Had the game been close, would USC have scored twice as many points per minute in the closing minutes? Doubtful.

The refs were horrendous. I notice no one seems to have a problem with that statement when your team wins by 36.

Go back and read the game thread, you will see where your post is wrong
I still have a problem with them being bad at their job. In a same way I’d hate to lose a couple scratchers then win the mega millions.
