Yep, I guess I’ll just enjoy the wins and not hold out hope for a return to form for this defense. Let’s just hope our shooting is on at the right time in the NCAA Tournament, because this offense really is something.

I didn’t think we play bad on defense but we almost gave up a 100. They were on fire from 3 and we seemed to limit attempts in the 2nd half. Defense picked up with about 6 minutes left

D was much better in the last 7 minutes, but when you allow teams to get comfortable shooting they will make them. Our D is not good, but glimpses of improvement late. I believe it is mostly, if not all, effort but the scheme also is not great. Clearly higher effort at the end of the game. For all that is holy, please, please, please scrap the drop coverage and start hedging screens. Teams are fu&^ing torching us and have been since we started playing averagely competitive teams. It will not take us far in the tournament. Glad for the win, but tough to see us winning any of the final 3 if we can't stop anything teams want to do.

Almost feel bad for Minnesota. They wasted about 4 wins worth of offense on this tonight. We have uhhhh things to work on, but offense certainly isn't one of those things. So I'll just say good win and let's try and hold Wisconsin under 80. Win and move on.
