No ILL/Iowa game is complete without the deliciousness of a FranCon1 eruption. Gotta love it.
I hope that’s Fran’s last game. Seems appropriate for him to go out like that…and makes me a bit envious.

I can only dream that my last day of work ends similarly with me gettin’ tossed out of the office (in my khakis) after an epic tirade trying to stick it to the man one last time. 🤣

Ug, don't say that! I want a six. The only teams I fear are the one seeds. If we're a six, we wouldn't see a one until fourth game.
Agree. I like the six seed. I feel we could hang with any 2 seed. The 1 seeds would be problematic.

Honestly, I felt like he only reached Francon 8… maybe Francon 7. That was the oddest, most subdued double technical I’ve ever seen.
He got warned 1-2s before the first T, and kept going. His response to the first T included F*, which got the second T.

You say this 2 months ago and everyone collectively applies for you to be in a mental institution.

Now, you might just be right…. Honestly the trio of Boswell Riley and KJ sharing ball handler duties is perfect.
KB and WR should initiate the offense. kJ should be a secondary creator, like TI. Turnovers are when he is the primary creator and forces it.

Walked right by me into the tunnel with this bewildered look on his face with those crosses in his eyeballs like a cartoon

I like starting KJ off the ball and then getting right into PnR action rather than doing the half baked weave action before getting into the side PnR.

KJ may be our best player as some have said but his response to fouls has become a bit tedious.

He doesn't seem to have adjusted to the physical nature of BIG play and complains often when he feels he has been fouled.
Then bitches after virtually every foul assessed against him. JMO
We told you: He is NBA ready!!! 😉

With a few exceptions, yeah. I’d have to say that’s mostly true.

Absolutely correct. Right before the first T, you could clearly see the official next to him saying something. It had to be some version of "You're getting close to a T." Then Fran kept talking and got the first T. Then, he got some rope from a different official (generally speaking, an officiating crew will try to get a second official to issue the second T to not make it appear that one referee has it out for the coach). The moment Fran says, "That's f***ing bulls***", it's going to result in his removal. I get that non-personal reference (as opposed to "You're f***ing bull****", which would be an automatic ejection 99 times out of 100) sometimes gets a little more leeway - even though I sure wouldn't allow that as an official. But he was warned, got the first T, was given some time, then yelled his final line. If I were in charge of officials for an event and witnessed that sequence of events, I'm 100% backing the officials issuing the double T and the ejection.
