I'll say this I'll never coach high major for sure .however rewatch alot of the games from the season Ben has been a major liability both on defense and on offense he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn .he had acceptable game that he was brought in for 1 game don't forgive the rest fr.if he plays like today he's definitely going to add alot to this team especially considering riley hasn't truly stepped up and took over.but 1 game don't make a season unless your cutting down nets Ben has been a major liability on defense and when he can't make a shot has been absolutely unplayable let's be real.i hope he keeps it up fr I'm happy with today performance but he has to show it going forward cause let's face it against 0-14 Chicago state he didn't show it or against really anybody this season tbch
While I agree with you that 1 game doesn't make a season, but he played really well versus Alabama and Arkansas as well. He was good awful for three games for sure. No doubt, but good grief.....we have 17 regular season conference games to go, plus a game versus Duke. For this team to hit their incredibly high ceiling, both Ben and Will need to settle in. Their shooting ability makes them so monumentally important to where we want to be.

Yea. They probably think they are pretty good after beating MD. I think UW is in for a real shock.

We almost scored as many as we did against 0-14 or whatever Chicago State! That is an a$$ whopping!
. . . and what I like about this team is when they do play an inferior opponent, it will be a drubbing for sure. Oakland played them tough, but the game was never in doubt. I think Illinois puts 100 on Oakland if they played tomorrow.

Amazing contributions from so many guys tonight: I'm especially happy for Ben, Dra, and Jake. And Tre was absolute money on the fast break and cutting. But I think those two 3-pt buckets by Kylan in the 2nd half were absolutely huge. Oregon had been on a bit of a run, cutting the lead from 20+ down to 12 with KJ on the bench, if I'm not mistaken. And Kylan calmly knocked down a couple of 3s within a few possessions of each other to maintain the lead around 15. It's so cool to have guys who can create space and knock down clutch 3s.
Nine guys came to play tonight. Brad didn't have to coach after that early 8 point run after an 0-6 start. It didn't matter which 5 of those 9 were on the court.

I'm not trying to be confrontational but 3 games out of 12 won't cut for what we all aspire truthfully I was hoping riley would step up but he hasnt. However you are right there's still plenty of season left to play just some if not most of those games defensive Ben has been unplayable or a given bucket case in point mizzou game.i really hope going forward Ben and will can truly push themselves to be better cause that position truly is the missing link to go far in march.ILL

Sometimes when coaches talk about depth, it’s just talk, and they never really trust the guys who are Nos. 8 and beyond. Brad evidently trusts his depth and that bench beat the No. 9 team on the road.
With this wealth of talent, everybody contributing something a bit different, Brad can be like a mad scientist. That should scare most of the B1G and beyond.
