Illinois 120, Fairleigh Dickinson 45 Postgame
Season is still very much alive!
We play fast… real fast!
Eeeeeked out a win.
Seriously, already said my accolades in the game thread. Just worried about the injuries. No Mirk and Jake for an extended period of time is not good. But the quality of depth looks good.

Brad made it sound like the Jake shoulder was serious.

Not sure what the ROI was on this game, but I am sure BU will find a way in the post game. Good to see the bench and frosh play a bit above the curve.
Only 5 turnovers was a great number. Thirty assist on 46 makes was good. Shooting numbers were good but tailed off considerably lat after our ninth man went to the bench. Good to see a bit of hustle and aggressiveness from Tomi too.
This is a wonderful group of frosh and I hope they all earn degrees here. Not likely for Coleman...we will see.
Now, Mirk, Jake, and Lincoln need to get healthy and back to climbing the "getting better every game" ladder.

Despite the competition being not really dickenson at all, anytime you can get 40 total rebounds from your guards?

One of the greatest Soul Train runs ever. I was in awe as a kid and still am. Thank you and please support PBS (though I don't know if the show is still on PBS).

Looked like at least a dislocation, maybe something with his collarbone? I think it was his nonshooting shoulder which helps if its not season ending.
Kudos to Landon for making that shot:
I felt bad for Brian Barnhart. At times he was just calling out names like a soccer announcer.
Dislocated shoulder.
Man, I've never seen a team pass like this one. And I watched last year's team!
