Another meltdown like last game we will be on the verge of dropping out of Top 25.

My take on yesterday is that it was inevitable that there would finally be a letdown. Our guys have been running on adrenaline for three weeks. The rotation cut and the sickness coupled with the Friday buildup to no decision took its toll. Also, when Hawkins picked up his second foul in the first half things changed big time. Hopefully the guys can rest their legs and regroup for the games ahead. They have shown such courage and resilience. Regardless of what the future holds any Illini fan has to be very impressed with that. Thanks, and a much deserved tip of the hat.

#9 Baylor, #11 Wisconsin and #16 Utah State (all in our vicinity, so to speak) all went down yesterday. Baylor also plays at Texas on Saturday, and there are a few other games where another top 25 team could lose.

Of course ... this goes without saying that losing even once this week plummets us in the polls. Regardless of what posters here think, we are playing two teams this week that the college basketball world views as simply bad. We need to be 14-4 (5-2) when the next poll comes out and to get back on track!!

I really appreciate this Chart, and thank you for the info and readability of same. I can now pattern my tv viewing schedule much more effectively. All about Seeding now.

Is Illinois missing from Big Ten listings?
