Gramps, I obviously am not as wise or seasoned as you but I was just thinking about this. Would I rather be Illinois (#9 KP, 11-3, 2-1) or Nebraska (#20 KP, 15-0, 4-0)?

At this point in the season, I think I'm still taking us. I'm pretty high on Nebraska actually, but according to the computers (You and Grandma should get one by the way. They're neat!) we have the higher ceiling. I would expect that our record will start to coalesce with our KP ranking soon and same for Nebraska.
Obviously you are not as wise. If you were wise you wouldn't have a personal insult in your first post to someone.
Games played on-line don't count. We got beaten on our home court. That counted.
Our ceiling is higher, and our floor is lower. If we aren't hitting 3s we will keep shooting them until the game is over. Nebraska will run plays and find other ways to score. Heck, when they went zone against us we passed the ball around and around the outside. When we tried to zone them they hit Mast in the key, where he either scored or hit the open man when we collapsed on him.

I agree with you on the "I'm taking us" statement. I think that we are going to send a guy to the key against zones. I think that we will screen the defender and make another defender leave his position or let us have the open shot. I think that we will draw up some plays, and use them when the 3 isn't falling. Maybe there will even be an inbounds play. Nebraska is already doing those things, maybe we will do it too.

If you have owned a computer longer than I have, I would be stunned. When you look something up I bet you just look at the AI summary instead of finding the actual studies or statistics. How's that for an insult?

I'll tell ya the concessions took a big hit in quality after the 14 win ceremony. 13 win ceremony was amazing though... ice cream floats and cottage cheese

Lol my friend, I was just riffing on your "Grandpa" user name / persona. I have no doubt that you own a computer and are just as if not more tech savvy than I am.

As for the AI thing - no insult taken. I'm a heavy although increasingly reluctant (due to environmental issues) user of AI. I'll use it to get quick answers on some things but for anything that matters, I never use only AI. I've been doing a lot of work recently on commercializing new products in the med device space. So, the studies I spend my time on these days are proprietary and it would be an NDA breach to even attempt to use open source AI to summarize them. Luckily, my masters degree with a specialization in data analytics from the University of Illinois prepared me to analyze studies the old fashioned way.

I’d argue that they were better than us that night. Play that game 10 times and my precise calculations (/s) say we’d win 7 out of 10
I'm waiting for Nebraskas bubble to burst like Wisconsins did a few years back when they started the year on a long winning streak. They were in the top ten at one time to being barely ranked by the time the tournament rolled around.

This week, the following teams ahead of us lost:

- #15 Arkansas lost at Auburn
- #14 Texas Tech lost at #7 Houston
- #13 Alabama lost at #11 Vanderbilt
- #13 Alabama lost vs. Texas

Have to figure we are at least #13 next week, and pushing top 10 wouldn’t shock me given #12 MSU looked okay and our Nebraska loss (which plummeted us from #13 to #20!) is looking like a better and better loss.
