It seems our mission this year is to take on ranked teams and sentence them to oblivion. Penn St excepted, of course. Playing with house money next week at Oregon. Let's see what Coach B and staff have in mind. Back to back weekends featured nationally on CBS is absolutely great for our program, looking to impress HS recruits and transfers from the portal when that window opens.

Ultimate What? Stat

Tuttle had both more passing yards and a higher completion percentage than Altmyer, but I think Altmyer's QB rating and QBR was higher...

What a time to be an Illini, we’ve seen some highs but much more lows lately and this just feels different, feels like that gust is finally blowing in our direction and we have the people in place to capitalize. Bielema has an Underwood like opportunity at this moment, roll it in the 9-10 win realm and this fire gets burning hot.

How in the hell did he get 208 yards?
Well, about 3 plays in a row when it didn’t matter and we were letting him have it…more or less. (1:00 left…their last drive)

Another long one he got after we course corrected for the play before(him having way too much time in the pocket)…and we sent everybody and their dog…

That was prolly about half of it…

A bunch of 3rd and 20 completions helps.
1. Their TE is pretty good and could be a 1st rounder
2. They weren't exactly running an Air Coryell offense out there. Heck this is a rare game where their offense needed to be more Brian Ferentz inspired.
