Here are some of the gamecock forum quotes:

“Can we accidently have someone run out of bounds and absolutely truck BIGliema?

If these guys don’t get fired for Beamer here then I don’t know what will. ***** Illinois

Can we throw something right on their sidelines and have a 250lb dude just plow through his **** ?

I’m convinced the refs were afraid to have to confront Brett.

Typical Carolina...All the Horse**** hype; all the BS pre-game picks; too damn cocky; All the whining about being left out of the CFP only to sh** the bed and get outcoached, outplayed against a lard*** Bret Belima and his team. We had no business being in the CFP and today proved it.“
How dare they? He's just full of Illini spirit!

At least they have their cousins to comfort them.

Guys, one of my good friends from central Illinois but who is somewhat of an Iowa fan (he went to WIU) said Iowa will come for Brett. We have got to throw the entire bag at him. He is exactly what we need here. Do not repeat the sins of the past letting greatness leave for greener pastures
Not sure if it's been pointed out yet not gonna wait till I get caught up. lol Iowa can't come for Bret. Bret has a clause he can't leave for another B1G school. It was Bret's own clause he had put in and got more base pay for it.

I always love these comments about someone who knows someone who knows someone that says said school will come for a coach.

Well guess what I have a good friend from central Illinois who already has came for Brett. His name is Josh Whitman.

I had to go to the hospital in an ambulance because I seem to have caught Norovirus and am in so much abdominal pain.... but I'm wearing my Illini slides in the lobby at the ER.
I remember in about 2009 or so I got norovirus the night before Braggin' Rights. I had to sell my tickets.

We had 2 penalties for 15 yards.
Speaking of discipline, I must give the kickoff team a pat on the back. That hokey fake T-bar in the end zone and throwback across the field could have been a back breaker. But guys stayed alert. One of them almost tackled the second guy but got blocked in the back (no flag of course).

Amazing win. This team is a legit cfp contender next season.
Easy… I hope so but a lot of games could’ve gone either way and other than Minny the Illini won those, including today. I love the taunting and the sh*t grin after. The South Carolina media, I think a local newspaper, already had an article where they were aghast and per usual no credit given to the illini. But who cares… We got the W and 10 wins.

Great season. Up next to 2001 as best I’ve seen in my lifetime. No reason to think they won’t be better next season, but I’m going to proceed with cautious optimism.

Again, why would he leave to go work for an AD he doesn't know when he's got Whitman in his corner??

Iowa also doesn't operate like that; they will promote someone like Seth Wallace or Levar Woods
