Because he is a douche bag. Was pretty obvious after the game got going. College footballs coaching version of Dan Hurley.
Yeah, he’s a punk..and s squeaky little gerbil…but there’s definitely others in contention for the crown.

What a game and what a way to end the football season. It's amazing to even think how far we have come! I only donate to academics but will send a personal thank you letter to Josh. It all started with him. Proud of our coaching staff and players. Heck of a job. You have no idea how happy I am. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

I went to about 6-7 South Carolina at Vanderbilt football games here in Nashville with my father-in-law and his friend who was a huge Gamecock fan. He always provided us free tickets and was a nice guy. He was constantly bragging about the Gamecocks. We endured sitting with the South Carolina fans for all those years and their fans are some of the most classless and rude fans I’ve been around. We got to where we hated South Carolina so much.

The highlight all those year ago came when they were on a 20 game losing streak and they lost to Vanderbilt and their fans were all depressed leaving the stadium saying I can’t believe we lost to Vanderbilt.

Michigan for me in the regular season but this was as good as that.
Same, but also honorable mention to KU. Will always take beating a ranked team at night, and walking out of Memorial Stadium hearing TSJ chants was epic.

If not for the 100 year anniversary, I think Michigan would be slightly less special, but you don't beat the reigning national champ every day either.

After watching the petty nature of the South Carolina coach and the coaching staff, I’m not surprised at all that coach Justin Stepp left that program. He definitely doesn’t fit into that type of persona. I’m glad we have him. He’s a winner and a great coach.

It's an amazing feeling to ask, at the end of the season, which of the ten wins was your favorite.
Michigan, and then the game today. Illini needed ranked wins with a full house. Kansas would be higher than where I put it now if they didn't have a bad season. We needed to beat the SEC today. This season has morphed the perception of Illinois football...had to finish

As a 2014 graduate who suffered through the devastating 1-2 punch of John Groce & Bill Cubit during undergrad, things are bright & happy now. Shout out to my Illini brothers and sisters who are enjoying this as much as me.
I graduated in 2005. I was much more spoiled with sports success than your class…but can’t say enough how much I appreciate people like you who were loyal fans during the lean years and sticking with us. That fandom helped us unleash a sleeping giant and now we’re reaping the rewards.

I’m a hoops fan who hasn’t attended a game since the Mike White era, but this season has brought me back. All praise to JW, who has a great university doing great things in sports. BB must get a raise. Now is the time to pound on our alums to build the NIL bank. Happy New Year to all!
