Credit where credit is due- defense only gave up 13 points last week and 6 this week- against pretty solid offenses. Well done gents, well done!
Rather than ponder how a group of supposedly professional sports officials can be so incomprehensibly bad at their jobs, instead I’m just going to enjoy the still pretty novel feeling of having seven wins twelve days before Thanksgiving.

Now guaranteed over 500 on the year.
On a more serious note. Happy for the win and the success BB has brought to the program. We have the right man captaining the ship. But he needs a better crew to really take this program to heights it has never seen. I'm hoping he realizes this. We have a chance to catapult this thing into the stratosphere that Illini fans have never experienced! Here's hoping.

I am going to go with workman-like win. Maryland had a couple of TDs bounce off their bricks--er, hands--that helped the margin a lot. With a lot of losses from 20 down to 25 (TN being a notable exception) maybe there will be room for us to get back in this week.
We are sooooo far away from any win being a guarantee. Like our chance in the next two.
A win is a win is a win. Realizing that outside of the Indiana game, this team is basically identical to last season’s team. Have to have a huge offseason to take that next step.
