My cable doesn’t have BTN, but we have Hulu and we can get BTN on that. And I have the BTN+ app on my phone and can cast that to my tv.
I live in a quasi-suburb of Samut Prakan which is a district on the outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand. I really appreciate your concern but I have visited and re-visited this issue for the last couple of years but to no avail. This is why I rely so heavily on you guys. Seriously, though thanks for trying to help.

I am too that way but I promise its not as hard as it seems. Both of them pause so you will get it eventually. I usually let the tv get out in front then pause when they hike the ball. Barnhart usually calls the snap so you unpause video then. If you mess up then pause the audio for just a second at a time until they are close. Doesnt have to be perfect.
Football isn’t as bad as as basketball. It’s disconcerting to hear the ball hit the rim and then see it…especially for my wife. 😁 I’ll have to try again. Maybe if I get it right in football I can do well enough in basketball.

I was able to listen to Illinois basketball in New Zealand on my phone a few years ago and watch it in my phone in Hawaii, and I can watch at a home by casting from my phone off the internet to my tv. But yeah, I can see Bangkok as being a challenge. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Basketball being so much faster pace is harder. Then any lag or pause in streaming can throw it off. It can be a challenge if your service isnt great.

Our defense is vanilla. It's super straightforward and I've heard the broadcasters on B1G say "it lets Illinois play fast" about 100 times. The thing is... we change our looks and hide the coverage pretty well. In the end Walters just puts our athletes on an island a lot and says "come and find out." I don't hate it.
We have yet to open up the defensive playbook The way Walters wants it. He gives peeks everything now and then but the full throttle has not been opened. He might pull the curtain open a little more this weekend.
